Black and Red Kumba Sahara Basket

These beautifully simple African laundry hampers and baskets represent modern African home decor done right. Woven by Wolof women from plastic strips used to make outdoor mats and abundant typha stalks (cattails), these baskets offer versatile functionality to augment their amazing sculptural aesthetic.

This laundry hamper has a slightly different shape than our previous hampers. Its flat lid fits snugly inside the basket top, and includes a braided loop handle.
